Analysis of Those are the Eyes
Those are the eyes, I drown in
Till the night, there are running
Two shallow rivers, are joining
The depths where, I'm drowning.
By the old church, there's smoke,
Swirling and twisting in the wind
Like there's fire, all I do is hope,
Can't find a spark, so I just choke.
And I do hope you see the eyes,
I really do, that's where I demise;
My heart is turning cold and blue
Thus I fear, but I can't hear you.
Was it all I had? There must be more
More than what you've been thinking
You know, I was forbid to sail away,
But you see now, here I am drowning.
