Analysis of The Mightiest Man - Dad

In the hastiness to grow up
Have left some life behind
Those days in the summer
When he would act like a bummer

Have left that tree full of berries
A reminiscent of his childhood memories
Running along with friends
Just for some fun when the day ends

Had big dreams in the starry eyes
Heart so innocent and big
Unaware of the deceitful lies

Cycling all day and long
Imagining this to be lifelong
Sooner that he knew
This was all gonna renew

With his little fists, the alley he donned
Is now long gone
Now his astute brain
Is stuck in his obligation

Time is passing by
In fulfilling his family's needs
Can't even recall When did his dream die
Cuz hes got a family to feed

World went by at the age of sixteen
Hardship & struggles made a man unseen

He's struggling with his old photographs
In which he's so short
His foggy memories
Will strip him of this treat

He re-collects those 10 Rs from his memories
How he spent it on candies so sweet
Cycle all day in the summer heat
Returning home just to get something to eat

He's grown strong now
With money at his feet
But still his heart yearns
For that little candy treat

But still his heart yearns
For that little candy treat
