Analysis of Hope dies last

Hope. It's at times, the hardest to let go.
Of all the facts and realities I know,
hope is the one we train our brains to hold on to.
And yet,
When all else is gone and I feel I can once and for all allow all the pain to come to an end and begin to heal,
I see you.
I hear your voice.
Feel your familiar warmth that has been my home for all these years,
And all of a sudden,
Hope arises.
And I stay among all of this that is you once again,
in Hope..

I hope this time it will work, I hope
all the things I need from you will make sense to you somehow,
I hope..
i hope you will have an overwhelming flood of complete understanding of all the things you quickly render to complicated to waste time on, and will In an instant, a flash of a long awaited miracle, will penetrate your mind and soul and ,become clear.
Simple.
Easy.
And flow from you in way that my heart has never stopped hoping for..
I hope..
But there comes a time when you have to realize that hope, will always be there.
In a corner drawer in your heart that will forever hold your memories.
Your plans.
Your dreams.
You feel it.
You know it's there, but if you do not choose to leave it in its silenced place,
from it, your pain can never heal.
I believe this hope will forever be in my heart,
And as I learn it's promise never exsisted,
I will allow it to stay,
because now I know
 it will always be,
The only part of you,
That I got to keep.
Hope.

I'm 42 years old. Married 26 yrs and two of the best kids a mother could ask for. I'm from northwest Ga. My grandmother who made it to the national poets society as a famous poet raised me my whole life. She left her mark on the world through poetry com National Poets Society and has a work of her poetry in the Pegasus Time capsule to be opened in 2095.
