Analysis of It's just an expression

Ron Burns 1983 (New port)

What is life,
Being born we have no choice but to breath the air to stay alive.
It takes some time to realize.
What we think is what we say, no written book to make us feel this way.
Every day, every breath is a different lesson,
All the things in life we accept the blessings.
If I could just pull the chord and give up this life.
