Analysis of Burning

*I am a fierce soul*
 *Under the moon of Aries*
 *Fire is my language*
 *Love is my passion*

*Here I am*
 *Flower in arm*
 *Yearning to love*
*But burning more than I love*

*My flames of passion rages*
 *Burning red like scarlet*
 *And those that I love*
 *I seem to have hurt*

*For these fierce flames*
 *Has encroached my heart*
*I have hurt more than I have loved*
 *My hands are tied*

*For if I let these flames go off*
 *Darkness will take my soul*
 *A heart devoid of love*
 *Will be filled with lust*
*And can't be anything but lost.*

About this poem

It's a poem I wrote when I had a little quarrel with my girl friend. I was wrong but I wasn't really sure of how I will make it right so I turned to my diary. I find it easier to put my feelings in writing before opening up about it.
