Analysis of The Unforgettable Hug
gregg connolly 1956 (pennsylvania)
I did not know her or ever see her again
She stood greeting guests, one hug per man
As I was introduced to her she began her embrace
As if an octopus ensnared me, every piece of her flesh
Impressed onto my embodiment and began to infuse into my protoplasm
She dissolved into me as we became one cell, one being, one entity
40 years thence this hug, this fusion, this timeless embrace still emanates
