Analysis of It was always
It was always
It was always you
That had my heart
It was always you
That could tear my world apart
At any moment I can be burned by your flame
All someone has to do is mention your name
My walls come crumbling down
Regret floods my mind and I drown
It was always me
Who was never enough
It was always me
Who just wanted to be loved
You left me standing there that day
Through teary eyes I watched you drive away
Taking with you everything I held dear
I want to reach for you but you're no longer here
It was always us
Who love each other like mad
It was always us
Who let fear get in the way of the good thing we had
I feel depression coming on
Your words remain but you're gone
Now I live everyday regretting falling in love
Because in the end mine was never enough
