Analysis of from across the street
chez crisden 1977 (north america)
when walking towards the supermarket, what I see...
can it be? people having fun so easily.
High fiving one another- why bother about all the cruelty going on; at that very moment, people feeling strong....
can't do any wrong.
enjoying one another's company; if only out siders could see it is possible to get along. No arguments- non of the he said she said compliments. That no one cares about.
No doubt in my mind- us happy folk- aren't too far behind in reaching our goal in kindness.
across the street, people chit chat about nothing in particular.
across the street; wonderful sunny heat.
From Across The Street.

About this poem
the poem has to do with things on the opposite side of town; what is transpiring across the street that will not happen on the other side of town.
