Analysis of Walter's Weather Warning
Watch out for the weather said Walter Kay,
wither the weather in the month of May,
though whether the weather be withered or not,
watch out for the weather and dither fair not.
Don't dither or slither when the weather comes round,
weather endeavours to be all around,
and whether tis good or whether tis bad,
beware the weather or you'll be so sad.
In April the weather was mostly here,
weathered and tethered to March's fear,
but whether it's June or January's time,
beware the weather in every clime.
The weather is clever and all should know,
watch how it dawdles and sometimes goes slow,
then changes so quickly and fast as a flash,
the weather goes faster as if in a dash.
Always beware of the weather at night,
and in the daytime beware how it can fight,
rough or smooth it is weather for sure,
if you don't want weather there's really no cure.
When I was young we had weather a lot,
and some times sat and watched what we'd got,
for the weather was there almost every day,
so watch the weather that's all I will say.
The weather abroad is always there,
at holiday time and people do share,
weather is cool but sometimes so hot,
a sky full of weather is all that we've got.
Weather up north and weather down south,
weather aint fussy just ask our old Alf,
once we had weather almost every day.
we couldn't do nothing and there it did stay.
Weather is big but sometimes so small,
sometimes at sea it's loudest of all,
then sometimes on land there's hardly a sound,
nice little weather in all that we've found.
So Walter announces for the Radio Tay,
"today we have weather and here it will stay",
whether tis withered or whether tis good,
beware the weather and all understood!
