Analysis of The Right Amount

It pains me to know you believe you are a chore.
That loving you is hard to do.
That love is a game where we keep score.

I'm so sorry I was not there when they told you to "turn it down a notch".
When you learnt, that for some, you will always be "a little too much".

Please believe, you have always been just the right amount.
Your volume is captivating. You are not too loud.
You are the right amount of passion, flair, tears, tenacity, and charm.

So turn it up a notch.
Throw the extra log on the fire of your soul.
Let your spirit burn hot and bright - enough to light the way and keep us warm.

And remember, that you will always be, just the right amount of you.
