Analysis of Click
Heather Lydia Thornhill 1981 (Manchester)
From stars of might to moon in day
Mysterious lights that guide our way
As crickets click through fields of hay
And melody breaches the atmosphere
To peacefully turn the meekest sphere
You will never hear a sound as clear
As the verge of extinction draws us near
Through the white tigers fearful tear
Into the crying and the sleepy ear
Of a struggling baby held so dear
Its soul the gentle nudge of death
By prayer of light with its last breath
An energy glittering through the sea
To reach good boatsman's destiny
Through clouds of mist this very day.
