आई वो रात एक अरसे बाद था जिसका इन्तज़ार हमें,
अफ्सोस के वो रात अधूरी रह गई।

हुई बातें बेहिसाब हमारे दर्मयां,
करनी थी जो दिल कि बात वो बात अधूरी रह गई।

अधूरा रह गया सपनों का आशियाना हमारे,
हुई इत्तेफ़ाक़ से जो वो मुलाक़ात अधूरी रह गई।

मुकम्मल हुआ भी तो ये वहशत का दौर,
खुदा कि बनाई वो कायनात अधूरी रह गई।

अब कहां इन्तज़ार रहता है इस बारिश का,
थी जो कभी बेहद अज़ीज़ हमें वो बरसात अधूरी रह गई।

मिलने का एक वादा जो कभी किया था उन्होनें,
अफ़सोस के यार कि वो सौगात अधूरी रह गई।

अधूरा रह गया ख्वाब उनका हाथ थामने का,
ना हो सकी जो मुकम्मल वो शुरुवात अधूरी रह गई।।
