Analysis of death of cat

Ever since the day you passed,
The pain I feel could not be asked.
I’ve been thinking of you every day,
Feels like my head is floating away.
Why did you leave me?
There is so much more to see.
I miss you, my dear cat,
Not just the way you sat on the mat.
