Analysis of The Embrace

Though cold winds blow around me
I am warm in your sheltered place
May your light of inspiration
Fuel my furnace; set my pace

I could easily despair, from lack of care seen beyond your wall
Divers of earthly glory, have their subjects to step upon
The few control the many, the weak take the fall
They die by the sword of plenty; from the sheath of greed, it’s drawn

Though cold winds blow around us
I am warm, held tight in your embrace
The fortress of your blessings
Puts the smile upon my face

I could easily be lost if I didn’t see the cost of your sacrifice
The truth that lies in love; my only path that will suffice
Your tale of love so far beyond the facets of a normal story
To open wide your heart, is the only way that leads to glory

Though cold winds blow around you
Be warm, held tight in His embrace
The fortress of His blessings
Will put the smile upon your face
