Analysis of Death

Death is a momentary pause along the path of life.
There are many lives to live
After the one we live on Earth.
It is not the end.
Rather, a new beginning.
Do not lament that which cannot be undone.
Rather, rejoice in every step from the beginning to the long run.

Mourn for however long it takes
To honor and show respect for life.
Just do not let sadness linger.
Too easy to let it wrap you around its finger.
Celebrate and treasure
All the wonderful lifetime of memories
Each and Every moment continually.

Death truly becomes the expiration of life...
If and only if, memories say goodbye.
Unlock the vault for family and friends, and all things sentient.
If only one person continues to remember,
Then it is impossible to extinguish the last ember.

What is it like to stare death in the face?
Who wins this race?
No contest, if death is faced with equanimity and sangfroid.

Take a deep breath in,
Let the healing begin.
Death can never win.
You can grin
Knowing death has no chance
In this dance,
Now and in perpetuum.

Death may be a dearth of feelings.
One may be gone, but there is always a new dawn...

Say goodbye and hello with the same breath.
Death can never win…
