Analysis of Wasted Time

Terrence Sixto 1968 (San Fernando)

Looking back at where I've been
And all that I've been through
Laughter pain and agony
Of chances that I knew

I suffered long for my deceit
of no one but myself
By failing to acknowledge
The feelings that I felt

I tried my best to live the lie
As if it were the truth
But knowing well that all was done
Not knowing what's the use.

I look back from where I came
to where I am this day
At who I was, and who I am
and the price I had to pay

I can't go back and change the past.
There's nothing else to do
But don't waste time with regret
And live in truth for true.
