Analysis of Wintertime Cheer
Mark A. England 1960 (Phoenix)
You always know, When Winter is Near,
The Array of Colors, in Nature Appears;
The trees have shaken there final Leaf,
Until next spring, May they Rest In Peace;
The Snow soon follows, And blankets the Past,
Of only fresh footprints, Even those won’t last;
We close-up our windows, And let Winter by,
Leaving to Nature, It’s Wintry Sky;
We sit by warm fires, Hot chocolate in hand,
Sharing stories, with family and friends;
Thanksgiving and Christmas, are surely Tradition,
As we reverence The Savior, His birth and Mission;
With all this before us, This Wintry Time,
Be mindful of others, be cheerful and kind;
With Winter Subsiding, The New Year begins,
Our Spirits rekindled, And Hearts refined.
