Analysis of 6:58 am drabble

“she isn’t coming back” my friends tell me
but my heart says “she will”
I see her in every crowd, I hear her over all things loud, I dream of her when I know I shouldn’t
I tried to tell myself I’m better off without her but I know I wouldn’t
she already has someone else to take her home and I tried doing the same but I just couldn’t
she isn’t coming back
I wish my everything would accept that
