Analysis of Paw Prints On My Heart

By Donald F. Noetzold JR

Muddy Paw Prints on the floor,
Nose prints on my windows and glass door,
Loving heart to the core...
Are no more!

Wagging tail and happy barks,
Greets of love and eyes of sparks,
trips to the parks,
Are no more!

Love and greetings at the door,
Lots of licking, kisses for sure,
A kind of love that has no cure,
Are no more!

But wait...
It's not over after she departs,
There's still the matter of
Paw Prints On My Heart!!
