Analysis of Labor et Labor

Kyia 1998 (London)

Months counting of pain and anguish
Mornings marred by breakfasts’ revolt
Clinging helpless to strands of the past
Anxiety peaking with future promises
And peaceful imaginings of what to come.
Joy.
What joy,
to bring forth one of worlds wonders. Stitched and stored in woman’s womb. Dispersing seedlings to inhabit the earth
Changing the trajectory to empower those thereafter. A movement. A goal. A purpose.
Not by chance but by concurrence ‘tween man and God agreements made
Go forth and release what is carried and return home when objective result.
