Analysis of Want to Grieve
I want to stay here and grieve
As if I had truly lost a loved one.
I’m not ready yet
To come out of the darkness
Because the darkness is my friend,
And the darkness is my companion.
I don’t want
To be blinded by the light just yet,
So please,
Won’t you just let me grieve in the dark?
