Analysis of King of Kings

Nina Pangilinan 2008 (Quezon City)

There once was a kingdom,
filled with magic and glee.
People called it Stardom.
Where residents take flight.

The citizens have wings
with various designs.
Some designs with gold rings
while others have red vines.

Soon all this will come to an end.
A tyrant ruler's reign will near.
A stranger will come to ascend,
beating foes with no show of fear.

Clad in black, blazing eyes in between.
Striking fear into evil men's hearts.
Our hero may be honest and mean,
but all that he says comes from the heart.

When he ousts the tyrant king,
marks the golden age he brings.
People will be heard cheering
for their hero, King of Kings.
