Analysis of Crossroads
You will know when a heart is poured with ink
As the author divides his mind while his heart sinks
Like liquid fire easily consuming paper his thoughts
Will Memories are flash floods that with sense spill
Distant are his reverie from all actuality
A place of verisimilitude while holding credibility
OH the spirits serve as a temporary anesthetic
But the lass in recollection is embedded
Who is conscious of these crossroads for lost souls?
Sheep and wolves with same goals as the sins unfold
This is the narrative of an author who lived many years ago
Present writings for the future; a poem in the past was sold
He built an altar of flames to keep a steady reminder
How unwell is it to desire yet not be desired
Too some...truth will come time will tell what use to be of this place
Either in growing old or death it is clear that the author is far too late
