Analysis of Just A Thought

Many splendored and fantastical ideas
Do you let them rest or pass on by?
Much depends on you, where are you?
Where did the time go? Why did it fly?

A thought that floats through your mind
Is just a thought until you start to feel
Until you turn it over and over again
Was it just a dream? Will you make it real?

I felt it needed to be expressed by writing, Drawing, painting or some work of art
I could dance and sing, the more I planned I knew it was a design after my own heart

What is it that inspired me so?
That lonely thought that gained impetus
Intertwining with my deepest emotions
I can't let go, now its power seems limitless.

Maybe I should have let it pass on by
Because once it starts, it does exist
It cannot be wished or washed away
It takes center stage until the next...

Is that all I wanted to do
I feel better for having had my say
I can't imagine another outcome
I'm glad I had this thought today.
