Analysis of Shadows Part 2
Mary Helen Trujillo 1987 (Colorado)
Now the fire has burned
Now we’re biding time
Face the inevitability
A sepulchral goodbye
And you’re stuck in your ways
Your incessant lies
I wish your charm was fading
Like shadows in the light
Yes you broke me completely
When you put your hand in mine
The memories are taunting
Those shadows still linger on
