Analysis of With rhythm and poetry

But if you had to go away,
I will try and find a way
for you to stay in
prosperous spa-
ces with me,
even if it meant not seeing you ever again.
How does that work?
Well, going to Hell is easy.
I'll just have to eventually escape
claws beyond human horrors and imagination rituals that
precede consciousness.
How ''could'' that work?
Beats me, but I will beat it
back with rhythm and poetry
never seen or heard before.
Satan's grasp is an imaginary tale
of man-made restrictions that have
no respect for human capabilities
in art, and
Poetry decided this.
I will tear down, hell,
sell my soul,
get it back, sell it again,
find my way to you and share
my true soul with rhythm and
poetry never seen or heard before.
The person who made this
possible is the second one,
and never the first.
Of course, ''I'' is the first, while
''You'' are the second one.

About this poem

This poem's meant to be said aloud (spoken word). The rhythm is as anyone feels it should be, but it's heavily inspired by jazz and beat artists (such as Bob Kaufman). The poem shows a steady stream of thoughts that came to be while listening to Charlie Parker, and it's meant to connect the ''I'' with the ''You''.
