Analysis of Alone in the Dark
Late at night the room grows dark. I look around and I see nothing. Nothing but me. Alone in the dark. I light a candle and I just watch the light flicker. Suddenly the light goes out. Alone in the dark once again. I think to myself. How I would love to be held. The dark seems to fill the room with shadows. Shadows that seems haunting. So haunting that the room grows cold. I can see my breath. Shadows seem to be closing in on me. Suffocating me. I just want to be loved. Loved the way I deserve. It's pointless to even think anyone could love me honestly and faithfully. So I stay silent as I sit alone in the dark.
