Analysis of Silence was her weapon.
She almost lost her voice for being silent for so long.
She kept her words to herself,
Never speaking out for what she was against or for what she believed in.
Her silence was her weapon.
But for too long, she’d stood by and said nothing,
For too long, she’d allowed others to speak on her behalf.
For too, too long, she’d allowed others to say what they wanted against her.
But silence was her weapon.
She was afraid that her words would hurt others if she’d ever spoken up.
She was afraid of the truth.
Now the time has come not to be silent anymore.
The time has come to speak up. And to speak out loud.

This poem is about never being afraid of speaking up for yourself. Words are tools that can either build you up or destroy you. So always speak up and speak out.
