Analysis of Arm in Arm

We are dancin’ on the pier, the fog rolls in, the birds take flight
We’re twirling arm in arm, loudly stepping fairly high,
We had no idea of hours quickly slipping by
Just laughing in an uproar and loving every step
And the joy of how our hearts together freely leapt
Fair moon almost full, glowing through the foggy sky.
Our joyous minds did not see more than minutes floating by
We chugged from our leather container a fine home stomped wine
We danced and sang the youthful tunes, we remembered every line.
Next week you must come here to our foothills so many shades of green
Join our grins and laughing, feel that joy in our surrounding scene.
As we dance upon the pier, the fog rolls in and the birds take flight.

Twirling arm in arm and loudly stepping fairly high
We have no idea hours are slipping by
