Analysis of The Night Remains

. When darkness embraces the light
. Let the angels call my name and the covered
  diamonds stay bright
. Will the marvel essence from my mortal
  comfort disunite
. May I see to the hall of fame and let the demons
  be polite
. Apart from myself, we are the stars, until the
  leads reunite
. Eyes dilate as emotional wounds shimmer
  of inflection
. Unwelcomed history is whispered in tears over the need to recite
. The louder you seem to hear the more of it you seem
  to invite
. It gets dark, dysfunctional and yet, our mindset
  reanimates attachments in sight.
. The unstrung heart beats of sorrow and a heart of song will remain on your right
. Maybe I will leave you tomorrow, yet within the
  shadows you remain the night

About this poem

A teacher in a dark place. My very first poem, 2009 maybe? Curated twice.
