Analysis of Isn’t It?
Sheri Miller 1948 (South Carolina)
Isn’t life Exquisite and Haunting?
We awake with new Breath, still
dressed in yesterday’s heavy filaments.
Unable to exhale the past.
We believe that Every day is
Newly minted, sparkling, full
of surprise and opportunity.
Just round the corner, isn’t it?
Still, there remains the Nuisance of
repetition, a reminder that we are
doing what we have done. Trapped
in our fragile webs of Entanglement.
We exist in the realm of
Magical Thinking while fear
of Change dampens our
Spirit. That’s true, isn’t it?
