THEY LIVED
Poem by FatinAnn Umar Abdulrahim Halawa
THEY Tilled THEIR Land Abound.
THEY Dug the Silt and Sowed the Seeds.
THEY Planted the Olive Trees, the Lemon, Jaffa Oranges and Pomegranate Trees.
Oh So Big and Juicy!
THEIR Crops like Cauliflower and Cabbage and Raddish and Beets and Tomatoes and Cucumbers and Watermelons!-so Huge and so Ripe-all without your stinkin' water!
And you think you can tear all this down time and again?
Silly goose, didn't you know? The Creator orders all those seeds to be buried deep in the earth and come back time and again?
They Lived
Groves of Herbs-Sage, Parsley, Mint, Camomille and Thyme for cures and tea! Others like Lote and Senna and Red Sumac Flower for Our relief. Rows of indigenous Black Seed which is a Cure for serious ailments, Cracked Wheat and Green Afreekeh. THEIR Harvest Feeds and Cures the Whole World! Non-stop They Grow!
Palestine Cures the World with Her Herbal Remedies of her Land made of Silt, exactly what Allah (SWT) Intended.
And the honey bees, ah yes, the honey bees...How Sweet Thou Art!
Silly goose, didn't you know that the Cure for everything, the Black Seed, can only be found on OUR ARAB Land?
They Lived
OUR Scrumptious Cuisine-Traditional Dishes like Musakhan-Finger licking good- and Makloubah. Shawarma, Filafil, Mishaawi, Taboulli and more are everyone's favorite!
Our Art- Clay Pottery to hold the water which Allah summons to gush forth between through stones along the streams, Intricate Islamic Art, oh my!- the Olive Wood Carvers, the Basketweavers, the Keffiyeh creators and Our Delicately-Sewn Embroidered Thobes We wear!
Silly goose, didnt you know? The Prophets ate with their own hands, because the food tastes so much better!
Long Live Palestine! Viva Palestina!
They Lived
Vendors with Fresh Goat and Cow Cheese and Fresh-Baked Ka'ik-Mmmm, Yum Yum -the best! Ovens of freshly baked Khubaz-Arabic Bread baked on a cast iron Taboon.
And Nablus Olive Soap-that's where I'm from! Jabal al Nar or Mt of Olives-Our choice, not yours!
Ah yes, and the Sweets. Oh yes the Sweets- Ghraybeh. Wardaat. Awami. Knafeh from Nablus!-Mmmm, So Sweet!
I saw a travel magazine of your hotel where you claim OUR Shukshuka recipe as your own. NEVER!! because WE do it with HEART! Just who are you trying to kidd?
Silly goose, you have no identity of your own-because YOU don't even exist and you are a cold-blooded occupier so GET OUT NOW! OUR ELDERS are the ONES to save PALESTINE, Bi Izzen Allah!
They lived
At death, the Smiling Faces of Martyrs holding up Their Forefinger and taking the Shahada, proclaiming that there is One Creator and that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His ~FINAL~ Messenger who was sent as a MERCY to all mankind, they emerge with a Bigger Group of Earth Angels, and with all God's Prophets (pbut) and God's Angels leading the charge. 2:154 "Do not say they are dead; nay, they are alive but you perceive not." Why do the Palestinian Elders seem to know so much more than the rest of us? Oh, the stories they tell when no one can hear! Way lee mahlaha al bint al shalabia!
Silly goose, What part of when you murder One 10,000 come gushing forth in His place, do you not innerstand? My question to you is this, WHERE will YOU go?
They Lived
All His creation worships Him! Hue-mans are the only ones given free will! Allah's(SWT) Universal Order is set in motion.
100 Commandments for our protection. VERY FIRST ONE: "You shall have no other gods before Me." God is your Source for EVERYTHING. Doesn't matter whether you accept it or not, like it or not, or believe it or not. Life goes on.
Silly goose, what part of this do you not innerstand? His Universe works with you or against you. There's no ifs, ands or buts about it. Your choice.
They Lived
Quran-The Purity 114:1-4
Say: He is Allah the One and Only;
Allah, the Eternal, Absolute;
He begetteth not, nor is He begotten;
And there is none like unto Him.
Yours truly,
