Analysis of We Only Have Today
We Only Have Today ©

I’ll wait until I retire
That’s when the fun will begin
Well sadly crystal balls don’t work
Just look at what has been
To those who choose deferring
Life’s joy’s and revelry
Tomorrow’s never promised
Not to you or even me
So gather those rosebuds while you can
Dance from night to day
Tomorrow is never promised
We only have today
