Analysis of Still Tide

Even as your loss is bigger than your gain,

The tide washes in.

Even as your spirit starts to wane,

The tide washes in.

“Chekov’s gun fired,” your mind tells you,

The tide washes in.

“Quit harbouring a liar,” a voice tells you,

And the tide still washes in.
