Analysis of Rise Up
Do you think you can make me back down from a challenge?
Do you think I’ll just stand and let you do the damage?
If so, you’re mistaken because I’ll hold my head high and gallant,
I’ll find my own way, not through sheer luck but talent!
You’ll see me rise up!
I’m ready to give a bold answer so you better wise up!
Try to set obstacles in my life-long marathon?
Oh well, I’m far from a coward so bring it on!
You may try to break my heart but hear it pound now!
I’m determined, I won’t give up and that’s my vow!
You may try to shake my resolve,
But your pessimism won’t get to me because it’s only strength and optimism in what I involve!
You’ll see me rise up!
My scriptures have taught me that overflowing is my cup.
You cannot break me or shake me,
‘Cause at the end of the day, I’m in control of my own destiny!
I’m on a master quest and I’m on my way to victory,
I know I’m a champion and my name will be embedded in stones of history!
You may call me stubborn but I called it strong-willed,
I’m skilled and thrilled and with determination I am filled!
You’ll see me rise up,
I won’t let the storm blow me down and I’ll always stand up,
My foundation is strong and even stronger will be my set-up,
Get ready world because you’ll see me rise up!
