Analysis of You are the light.
Mitchel Fletcher 1982 (Marion, Ky)
You are the light that brightens up my day,
I cry and sob when you are away.
I lay awake all night thinking of you,
and wake up the next day praying to God in my sleep that it will be with you.
I open my eyes to see,
and wonder when will it be.
I ask God to please show me a sign,
then I fall to my knees and start to whine.
I just wish that the day would hurry up and come,
the day when we will become one.
I know in my heart we will stay,
because you are the light that brightens up my day.
