Analysis of PREIERE’
JP. 1948 (United Kingdom)
Send me a miracle I just need the one
Turn this rain into snow beneath a cold sun
Set feet and fingers afire with that glow
That comes from the cold on a carpet of snow
Keep faith with me now upon this new morn
As I keep with you and in life that’s reborn
For a promise of hope this one day in the year
And an omen of goodwill that it can infer
Reset my sin toll so I can put right
All the wrong’s that I did to others in plight
Put love in this heart for those I berate
Yet point me to error should I start to hate
But can I give the present to one I dislike?
Of a peace that’s not meant to be so contrite
Look down on me now for the gift I can give
That one piece of magic to live and let live
