Analysis of THE BADGE OF SHAME

T’Was a hoary old bag named Vikkie
Who handed this token her name,
Australian terrorists now get
To show off their badge of shame.

Overseas they are doing acts
That best can be spoken as evil,
Quislings to two mighty empires
Who both are in league with the devil.

A medal that now means nothing
Is awarded for killing the innocent,
A badge of shame and disgrace
That can only be called devil-sent.

Once it was deemed a great honour
To receive the Victoria Cross,
But now it is only awarded
To people whose souls have been lost.

Australian monsters are creeping
Cross Europe to kill and ravage,
Innocents are raped and plundered
By terrorists committing outrage.

Why has this one glorious symbol
Descended to such a great depth,
Awarded to those who have murdered
Women and babies while they both slept?

T’Was an evil old bag who has given
This worthless old token her name,
So now when we talk of the medal
Our words are all spoken in shame!
