Analysis of My Jesus
Brian Bevels 1977 (Centre al)
On the old rugged cross
Is where my Jesus died for me.
Without my precious Jesus
Where in this world would I be.
Had it not been for Jesus
I would be going straight to hell.
But thanks to the blood of the Lamb
I am here - alive and well.
I have to give praise to Jesus
I know he is my king.
And what a glorious day it will be
When we hear those heavenly angels sing.
My Jesus did conquer
Death,Hell and the grave
And when I asked him into my heart
A poor lost soul he did save.
When my life is over
And his sweet face I see.
I will take my journey to Heaven
In the arms of the Lord,I shall be.
