Analysis of The Chosen

Once I was alone and unloved.
Then I was chosen by a loving family.
I grew up with love and a sense of
belonging.
I was happy yet not fully content.

There was something missing, the past,
my roots, I don’t know.
I had to search for the truth whether
it be good or bad.
As I find the truth I seek, it calls
to me to search for more.
I will not stop ‘til I find out all.
