Analysis of Meeting at the Jasmine Grove

Meeting at the Jasmine Grove

At eventide he steals away, leaves the world at play,
and with singing heart an artful lover may
seek out the fragrant shadows-
the water's edge,
where his lady lies waiting,
aching for his arms
in the bosom of the Jasmine Grove.
