Analysis of Gone To Soon
Glenn L Maluchnik 1962 (New York)
They told me you were gone.
I cried and cried.
It shouldn't of been you who died.
Days go by without you here.
I feel an emptiness inside of me.
My life isn't the same without you here.
Angels came and took you to heaven.
My heart was broken when they told me you died.
I felt like I just gave the dream master my last token on my heart.
Does love ever stop hurting?
I see a picture of you and a tear runs down my cheek.
Love can cut your heart in half.
A dove sings a lonely song.
Just as time goes by I think about the memories of you.
Just start the tears flowing again.
How come you had to go.
I don't know.
Loved you then.
Love you forever.
Never forgetting you.
Or letting you go.
