Analysis of To see you again
Vicki sementelli 1960
If only I could see you again, one hour, one moment, one second, I would take your hand, and never let it go, I would follow you into the brilliant sunset, walk into another land. If I could see you again, the sky has been so dark without you, the days have been bleak, and the sun is always weak. Maybe I didn't know what this is all about, maybe I was a fool in love with a dream, I lost so much but it was never mine, just a gift that can float away anytime. If only I could catch a moment in time and never let it go, I didn't know. Someday we'll pick the flowers, someday we'll drink from the crystal wine glasses, and it will all be fine, we'll drink the wine. If only I could see you again.
