Analysis of Blame

No one likes to take the blame
Anywhere you are going to lose fame
Not even my old and weak dame
Attending to hens and goats

Everyone looks for a scapegoat
To sail for them in the blame boat
Edging away and far from it
To keep your fame and face right

When a student lacks to finish homework
He or she blames a hand ache
While to throw ball at the PE break
Hurts not the ailing hands they fake

When a farmer’s crop fails to bear
He claims that the rain was unfair
While to his neighbors it’s very fair
How could rain choose whom to favor

Foul play by fate has been the song
Of all the poor people in the world long
For how long will they keep claiming
Always not trying, leaving fate to its doing

This is the time for us to face it
Let’s not claim that its fate
Through hard work we can make it
Lacking to look for blame since no fault
