    Congratulations to the winner!!! :)

Also, I just want to give emphasis to this idea - "All of your works are indeed great, it's just a matter of preference. Just the mere fact that each poem in this contest had already won 1st place is in itself an evident proof that people had appreciated its beauty for simply what it is."

As such, I would like to make a toast to everyone's amazing poems.

Let us all keep the good wtiting going. :)

Some lines moved me deeply - and that is what Poetry is about, and therefore validates this.
But for the most part the overuse of Quatrains and the too common frankly bad Rhythm or lack of cohesive Theme meant that it was a chore to get through them all.

Congratulations to Jordan on a fantastic win!
And congratulations to all on the list.
I echo what Randy said, it is an honour to be part of the competition.
I wasn’t writing at all this time last year and now it is a very important part of my life.
The community is so supportive . I’d like to give a special mention to John (Vixility). His encouragement is a huge reason that I continued to write after my first entry. And I know he has done the same for many others.
Thank you to the poetry team and the soulful, warm and super-talented community.

Nice to see the Iambic tetrameter. The beat of our hearts and language (The power of Wordsworth), adds a sort of cheeriness of tone as we stride towards our fate. Also the freshness from writing first draft in one go at 2am. Love "the permanance of all that's lost / In everything you've found". Congrats.

It has been a humbling honor to be included in this competition. Every entry of the other competitors was worthy of the grand prize. This community of writers is not only talented, but they are gracious and complimentary. You all offer the encouragement of the creative mind. I hope to view each one of you as my friend.

During the month of May competition, I was so torn between two poems. I ended up voting for "Homesick" which is really worthy of my vote. :) But at the back of my mind, I have these words saying - "If only we are allowed to give more than just one vote, I won't hesitate to vote for "Who Are You Today" poem as well. And now, a rare opportunity had clearly presented itself to me.

I can't wait to see the results. Good luck to all! :)

Hello there Susan! I just want to take this opportunity to tell you that I actually love most of your works. In fact, in the previous competitions, two of your poems made it to my top 10 and I am proud to say that during the last month's contest, your poem got my vote. Looking forward to read more of your amazing writings. :)

Well at least they are offering a monetary award this year for the prize. I had to suggest a plaque with the poem of the year on it so I could receive recognition for last years contest. No money was ever offered...I got the plaque about two months later...Congratulations to this years winner, good luck to all...
