Congratulations to all the winners! Special shoutout to Steve (I told you, man, you got some good stuff), may he keep writing and never delete an upload again! As always, here are some of my favorites this month in no particular order: 1. The World Through The Eyes Of The Melancholic Ones 2. Santa To The Rescue 3. Fox Mountain Sequence 4. Withdrawn 5. Liverpool 6. Patience 7. A Tree Worth Of Leaves 8. Seasonal Scent 9. My Dear Siren, The One By The Sea 10. Grief

Great entries this month. I'll make my rounds in the comments of my fav pieces, I want to encourage everyone to do the same with their favorites. Until next month- Keep writing.

You nailed it, Je. So many excellent works in this collection. The ten you picked were remarkable contenders.

Congratulations nominees and winners. If you haven't checked out Randy's other poems; you're missing out. Some of my all-time favorites. And Steve D. blew me away with his masterpiece 'War Torn'. I have a lot of favorites here, but I would also like to mention Jewoo's poem; 'Crocodile Tears' (And I'm not just saying that hoping he might chose my 'sick dog' poem for his top 10 It's not my best work. There's a story behind it). I was also taken by that 'Squirrel' poem, but can't seem to locate it now. Anyway...I was pleasantly surprised by this month's entries.

i am feeling the same. After many rounds of reading, I have painfully winnowed it down to 4, Letting it marinate a bit longer.

My favorite 'pinned' poems I had narrowed down to two. Then I had to scrutinize each one; looking for ANYTHING to set them apart. Since they both appeared to be flawless to me; I then had to drink half a gallon of whisky ...cross my eyes and throw a dart. I didn't hit either of them, but heard the dog yelping. When I woke up two days later..I just flipped a coin.. Easy peasy. (Kidding about the whiskey thing :)

the other page did not have initials with poem. That is probably better, than you do not know who wrote it

I have posted my child's poem. I have a MA in Creative Writing. Poetry was my specialism. I don't think I've ever written anything as beautiful as they have.

Good luck everyone, and good luck to my baby ♡

Just a quick question for anyone on here.. I got my mug in the mail for last month’s contest but it only has a small portion of my poem on it. Maybe because it was so long?

That’s what I’m guessing. My mug was same, only had part of my poem.

      Congratulations.

I have tried to submit. Although all went through last month no problem. It seems to not be accepting my payment info. Does anyone else struggle with this?

Hi Maggie...When did you try to submit your poem? Sometimes it might take several days before the team is able to review it; especially during to holidays and on weekends. OR...maybe someone else has a better answer? Good luck; I hope it shows up!

thank you so much. I seem to be unable to get the payment part to work. It is glitching on my every attempt. It feels like paying should not be difficult :(

I was excited to challenge myself to enter again and disappointed to not be able to.

      Good luck to all!
