Wow...I think I'm about to cry now. I've never really felt this close to so many people in my entire life: And I am proud to have such like-minded/spirited, talented poets to call 'Friends'
Congratulations to the winners! Special shout-out to Robin for her double podium finish this month. Also, this is the first time where the poem I voted for made it onto the top 3. Very interesting stuff. My favorites this month were (in no particular order): 1. It Smiled Knot, 2. Narcissus, 3. Fall (third place!), 4. In the Mirror, 5. Daylight Fantasy, 6. Seeking Inner Peace, 7. Empty Sea of Sheets, 8. Comebacks come too late, 9. I am poetry I am rhyme, 10. Melissa, 11. Sleep Deprivation clarity found in the rubble of a fallen castle in the sky
Looking forward to next month! I will be commenting on the individual poem pages themselves with my thoughts, I encourage everyone to do the same with their favorites.

Same here. I gotta submit something better than my past submissions. My gosh! I want to experience the unexplainable thrill of winning so it's a must that I improve my writing. :)
There's something very valuable in everything you write Francelle...and considering the fact that English isn't really your primary language...you have a unique way of expressing emotions that just capture me and (quite frankly) 'blow me out of the water! NEVER GIVE UP...but it never hurts to try and improve. (She is one of my favorites on this site; and I believe in her talent as well as her soul :).more »

It is a lot of entries, but I encourage everyone to try and read every poem. You never know what you might miss, it would be a shame for good poetry to go unread. Good luck all!more »

I begged of a free entry for my "Let me die" poem, in june contest. But it isn't in the nominees and I am not able for voting" thus showing at the voting page. Why this? Why isn't my free submission granted?more »
Unfortunately, we are receiving plenty of requests for fee waivers for the contest, and can only grant approval for a maximum of 5 submissions. As a result, the likelihood of securing free submissions is limited.more »
