मुसाफिर

वाकिफ तो हुए तेरी गलियों से हम
पर तुमको ही न जान सके,
तेरी बेवफ़ाई के जहरीले अंदाज को
तेरी चाहत की इन्तिहा मान बैठे।
तिनका पड़ा था तेरी आंखों में
उस पानी को तेरी मोहब्बत मान बैठे
जिस रहगुजर पर तेरे निशा

 थे
अक्सर उस रहगुजर से गुजरते रहे

वो सर्द गुलाबी शाम
फिर धीरे धीरे अंधेरे का बढ़ ना
टिमटिमाते तारों के बीच चांद
का अपनी दूधिया रौशनी बिखेरना
और मेरा इंतजार इसी पल का
तुम्हारे आने का
तुम आते अलाव के सामने बैठते
और मैं खिड़की से घण्टों तुम्हें देखा करती।
फिर तुम चले जाते
...

जब हल्का अंधेरा बढ़ेगा
तुम अलाव के पास बैठोगे
