Our Prophet Muhammad

Our Prophet Muhammad
“Peace be upon him”
By:
Doctor: Hassan Sultan (Egyptian poet)
Translated by:

***
I am a lamp, describing our guide,
From the Lord of the universe, I am a light

In the cave of Hira his right has come clearer,
Counseling and illuminating our nights

You informed a message, inflamed their enmity
Until it spread widely, for our life to be bright

When you emigrated the birds sang happily,
The chanters were ready with songs
With honor and merits

The full moon had risen brightly in our mountains,
 Found thanks and gratitude
From our parents and folks .

I am Abdullah bin Abd Manaf
Bin Nizar... Who can match us
In honor and greatness?

To Khalil Allah I belong and to Bani Ismail,
Our great past still extends and eternizes

You, our Prophet, prayed and led all prophets,
Al-Buraq bowed down for you, our Messenger,
to hover  above the skies and  heights
