Wax Poetic

Ms. Marcella Francesca

I feel the emptiness hit
When I wax poetic
Musing about how to
Convey a phrase a different way.
I wait until the emotions
Grab hold of my soul
And savagely hunt down
The meaning of my prose,
Those words scorching in hellfire
From which my madness ascends.
